Package Tour C – El Nido, Palawan
It was early morning, the sun was up, and the weather was
beautiful. It was a great time to do some island hopping. I can hear the sea
was calling me. We walked from the Inn to the where the boats are docked. As we
were walking, we passed many shops. There are many souvenir shops, resto, and
remittances. There are also many shops offering island tours. We were looking
for an ATM but unfortunately, there is none in El Nido. As we reached the
shore, there were vendors also selling various souvenirs along the shore.
As we started our island tour, our friendly tour guide
discussed the DO’s and DON’Ts in the island tours. We also prepared safety
measures.
We first visited Helicopter Island. Why is it called like
that? Because of its helicopter shaped which is clearly seen from afar.
As we were getting near the island, we were amazed by its
crystal clear water. It was very blue and we were excited to get into the
water.
The
sands of there are white and fine. The Island really had awesome views.
The next island we stopped by is the Secret Beach. Why makes
it secret? It is because the beach inside cannot be seen immediately from
outside the island. You have to get before seeing it.
The view inside the secret beach is like the beaches in
Thailand. So beautiful and amazing! We immediately took pictures with this
wonderful place.
There are also many fishes in this island. Most of them take
some bite with your legs. It doesn’t hurt unlike the piranhas do. Haha!
It was almost lunch time and so our tour guide decided to
bring us to Talisay Beach for lunch. As we were getting close with Talisay
Beach, we can see the stunning deep blue waters of it.
As we reached the island, we have seen another wonderful
island. It has impeccable white sands and it is a great place to spend time and
swim. I can only see this view in El Nido, Palawan.
Finally, it was lunch time! It was Time to fill our hunger.
Our tour guides prepared these very sumptuous dishes. Yum! Yum! My eyes were
drooling looking a theme!
Our next destination was the Hidden Beach. This is different
from the Secret Beach. While the Secret Beach has a wide entrance, this one has
a very small entrance. We had to pass through a small whole just to get in
there. Then beach is covered with huge rocks but it is worth getting all the
trouble in it. From the boat, we had to swimming to the entrance of it. You
must be very careful in swimming to the hole. The water is deep and the current
will keep on pulling you. You better have someone who is a great swimmer and
can guide you going in the Hidden Beach. The beach inside is remarkable. It has
fine white sands and some trees. We also saw many fish in there. You must check
the tide before getting in and out or else you will be in jeopardy passing through
the hole.

Going outside from Hidden Beach
Our last destination is the Mantiloc Shrine. It used to be a
church long ago and people use to attend mass there. Walking to the shrine from the boat is very
rocky so we had to be careful. There are religious sculptures there. It also has
an underground where you will see many old photos.
Behind the church is the beach. I spent time sitting there
and feeling the wave of the water.
There is a great view of the sea and the islands above the
shrine. We have to climb up at the rocks to reach the top. Seeing the view on
top was breathtaking! So we took advantage of the taking photos of such superb
view.
At the port of the shrine, it also has a magnificent view.
We felt like we were in Jurassic Park and Then Land Before Time because of the
view and its ambiance.
