Hidden Valley Mountain Resort Wave Pool

We went to Hidden Valley Wave Pool last Summer. It is located in Lamac, Pinamungajan, Cebu. It is a 2 hour drive from Cebu City. Driving from Cebu City, just drive to Naga and you will see a road to Toledo City and drive through it. It is a very load road.  

Once you reach Bunga, Toledo City, before you reach the church in Pooc, at the left side of the road where there is a waiting shed, you will see the Signage Wave Pool. Just enter that road. It is a 30 minute drive going to Hidden Valley from entering that road. Some parts of the road are concrete but most part of it is rough so you better prepare you vehicle for the obstacles before going there. Upon passing the road, you see a wonderful view.

After the long travel, we finally reached Hidden Valley.

Entrance Fee and Cottage Rates:

Upon arriving, we went to the entrance of the old Hidden Valley to pay for the entrance fee and then went at the office which is at the entrance of the wave pool to choose for cottages and pay for it. They just show you the cottage available at the monitor you will not need to go around the resort just to check for cottage. What you will see in the monitor is the live view of the cottage in the wave pool resort.

There are also foods for sell in the office and there are many stores outside the entrance.

The wave pool is very wide and divided into 2 columns. The first column is not so wide while the other one is wide. The depth of the pool is not deep so children will really enjoy there. The pool has fountains at the front side of it. There are also 2 jacuzzis in the wave pool.

There is a grilling area outside where you can cook. The grills are wide so you will be able to grill plenty of food at the same time. Utensils like knife and chopping board are available at the grill station. There is Php100 fee for using the grill.

Hidden Valley has many staff to assist the customers. Just feel free to approach any of them for assistance. There are also lifeguards on duty for everyone’s safety.

The waves are turned on every 30 minutes. Once you hear a horn blow sound, it is the signal for the waves. People start screaming once they hear the sound. We really had fun in the wave pool. The experience is really different from other plain pools.

We took 2 cottages which is right in front of the pool so it was easy for us to go in the pool and get back in our cottages. The comfort rooms were just behind us too so our position was very accessible.  The shower area is near the entrance.

Hidden Valley Mountain Resort has other pools at the upper side of it which is the old hidden valley. There are 3 pools there, 2 adult pools, and 1 children pool. The depth of the adult pools are up to 6 feet. There is a slide in the pool there. Up there, you will see a good view of the wave pool and the mountains too.

The resort also has a playground and statues which people will enjoy.
