Boracay Island - Second Day

Boracay Island - Second Day

We had breakfast in a nearby food store and their food is inexpensive. We were able to enjoy breakfast for P80 each of us for our meal. We were very full. There are many stores in Boracay Island which are inexpensive if you just know how to find one.. Most people think that everything is expensive there.

Boracay Island is like paradise because of its pristine white sand, crystal clear water and wonderful environment. Many foreigners visit the island. The blue sea of the island is very vivid in the morning.

The place is very beautiful where we didn’t help ourselves but to have a jump shot in the island. Having this shot there is awesome.
It is very refreshing to swim in the morning there. The heat is just enough to enjoy the sea.

The island is filled with many sexy ladies and hot men. Most of them sunbathe along the shores. You can see them passing by as you walk. They are also considered as one of the attractions there.

During the afternoon, we went at Puka Shell Beach. It is the 10th most beautiful beach in Asia and one of the tourist destinations of the island. It is located at the West of Boracay Island. It took us 15minutes to reach the beach. We had a ride with a tricycle going to Puka Beach for P150. The beach there is different from stations 1, 2, and 3. It is quiet and less people. Those who like to be in a quiet area of Boracay, this is the right place for you.

There were stores there selling souvenirs and Puka products. The beach was named Puka Beach because it has many Puka shells.

The sand there seems to be finer than the sands in stations 1, 2, and 3. As we walked, our feet got deep into it. The sea there is very clear also. There was no shade nor cottage in Puka Shell Beach. It was very hot walking around the area.

Many foreigners visit the beach. Plenty of them spend a night there. They made shelter out of the dried palms. They look like to be like in the television program “Survivor”.

After Puka Beach, we went at station 1. There was a grotto of the Virgin Mary at the middle of the beach. It is on top of a mini-island. It has stairs going up the grotto but the stairs was broken already so we took extra care on stepping it.

Every afternoon, the sea in Boracay is low tide so we had to walk a bit to swim.

People get out and enjoy the beach during sunset. It is the best time due to less sun heat. Some played Frisbee, some took rides with boats, some were swimming, and some just enjoyed walking along the beach.

You can enjoy riding a banana boat there for P300 per person with a minimum of five. A banana boat is a long banana like boat filled with air inside and pulled by a speed boat. On riding it, expect to fall tons of times. You will really keep on screaming while riding it. It was scary to fall but you will enjoy it.

You can also do parasailing for Php1300 to Php1500 each. This is summer rate. I am pretty sure that rates are less after summer. On riding it, you will be hanged on a parachute and will be pulled by a boat. You will fly like a kite. With it, you will enjoy the great view of Boracay Island from above.
