Timubo Cave

During the morning, we went to Timubo Cave. If you are not bringing any vehicle, you may get a multicab or a Habal-habal(Motobike) to bring you to the place and of course, there are fees for riding it. It is a bit far from Bellavistamarie Beach where we were staying. Timubo Cave is in a middle of a field. You can see mountains there and fresh air to breath. When we arrived there, we paid 5 Pesos each for the entrance. When we reached the destination, I hurriedly look for the cave since the surrounding was just a field until I walked a bit there I save the signage of the cave. It is just at the mouth of it. We paid 15 Pesos for going down the cave.

It is a long way going down to the bottom of the cave. It is about 50 yards. The stairs are a bit slippery so you better be careful. There are handrails to hold along the stairs. While going down, I am amazed with the stalactites and stalagmites. Upon going down, we were very careful. Some the parts of the ceiling are very low. It was my first time to enter a cave.

When we reached the bottom of the cave, I was astonished by the pool there. The water is so clear and bluish. Its temperature was just fine. It is refreshing and not cold. You will also see an altar of Our Lady of Guadalupe in there. Many people visits this place and have a swim.

Outside the cave, there are souvenirs for sale.
